The drain water can provide more than 40% of your total heat requirement.
By cooling this water to 2 ° C, the HeatCycle extracts heat from it. This system does nothing with the drain water itself, it flows through to the sewer.
The HeatCycle is an affordable, quiet system and can be installed in any type of house, no renovation or extra insulation is required.

Circulaire warmte uit afvoerwater
In een Dreamhûs op het terrein van The Green Village is een HeatCycle geïnstalleerd. Het is een systeem om de warmte uit al het afvoerwater in het huis te hergebruiken: circulaire warmte. De teruggewonnen warmte wordt gebruikt voor het maken van warm tapwater. In de toekomst ook voor verwarming.
Met het gebruik van de afwasmachine en de wasmachine spoel je liters water door de afvoer. Uiteraard ook met douchen en de WC doorspoelen. In al dat water, van gemiddeld 27 °C, zit nog veel bruikbare warmte.
Het afvoerwater kan voorzien in meer dan 40% van je totale warmtebehoefte.
Door dit water af te koelen naar 2 °C onttrekt de HeatCycle er warmte aan. Met het afvoerwater zelf doet dit systeem verder niets, het stroomt door naar het riool.
De HeatCycle is een betaalbaar, stil systeem en kan in elke huistype worden geïnstalleerd, er is geen verbouwing of extra isolatie nodig.
Op The Green Village doet DeWarmte onderzoek op het gebied van de techniek en het businessmodel. Ook richten ze zich op certificering en het verkrijgen van inzicht in gebruikerservaringen. Ze willen de innovatie verder ontwikkelen zodat deze zo snel mogelijk klaar is voor de markt.
