Living at The Green Village
On November 18 the two innovative start-ups Sustainer Homes and Woodys Housing signed a contract for the development and realisation of the first four student homes at The Green Village, making it a true living lab.
In this residential living lab, students living in these houses, will participate in all kinds of research projects and experiments. Both circularly built housing systems, due to their highly flexible and adaptive design, will function as a testbed for ‘plug in plug out’ innovations for the built environment and the interior. In the following two months an extensive design process will be set up to meet both student and researchers’ demands.
The first research projects are currently in preparation. Researchers as well as companies are invited to contribute by doing their research in these testbeds.
