12:30 – 14:30 Sports eXhibition & eXperience
Have you ever wondered what sports innovation entails and how athletes and you can benefit from it? Our eXhibition displays the most revolutionary sports innovations of the past decade. You can meet the brilliant minds behind them, and some of the innovations you can even eXperience yourself. Are you curious about what’s on display? Take a sneak peek and get ready to be amazed!
14:30 – 15:30 Sports Jubilee program
During the plenary Sports Jubilee program hosted by Greg Shapiro, we will celebrate our 10th anniversary with inspiring speakers. This is your chance to gain unique insights into the world of sports innovation and be part of our milestone celebration.
Greg will talk to Professor Tim van der Hagen – rector magnificus at TU Delft – and Marc van den Tweel – general director at NOC*NSF – about ten years of sports innovation and the importance of the close collaboration with NOC*NSF to realise these innovations.
Kimberley Bos – skeleton athlete and winner of the bronze medal in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics – and Wouter Terra – TeamNL expert aerodynamics at TU Delft & NOC*NSF – will provide insight into the meaning of sports innovation for an athlete. What does it entail, what does the process look like, and what are the results?
Kees Vendrik – Chairman of Nationaal Klimaat Platform – will dive into the relevance of sports innovation for society.
Greg will round up the plenary session with Carl Verheijen – former top ice skater, Topteam Sport member, and Beweegalliantie Chairman.
15:30 – 17:30 Sports eXhibition and Lab tours
After the Sports Jubilee program, you can still visit our eXhibition. And that’s not all! You will also have the eXclusive opportunity to join a lab tour of one of our state-of-the-art labs, including the wind tunnel, the 4D scanning lab and the bicycle lab. Spots are limited, so be sure to be at the lab tour desk on time.
