The ever-increasing impacts of climate change and the current geopolitical situation demand a further acceleration to decarbonize the heating of the built environment. Low-Temperature (LT) heating is an important element to switch to sustainable heating solutions like heat pumps or LT district heating. However, there is no experimental evidence of how low we can go in the existing built environment.

This WarmingUP project is about a large-scale measurement campaign in more than 200 dwellings to assess which dwellings could switch to low-temperature heating without any modifications to their building envelope or radiator system. The experimental campaign and initial results will be presented during this webinar.
