Milestone for Co-Creation Centre
A milestone: The Co-Creation Centre on The Green Village was recently completed! In the coming weeks the final touch of this innovative building will take place, so that inspiration-, work- and dialogue sessions can be held here in the near future.
The Co-Creation Center, or short: CCC, is a special building because it is a co-creation of various research projects. These research projects were executed by consortia of scientists from TU Delft and innovative companies. For example, we previously wrote that the CCC has been working with a revolutionary, all-glass supporting construction, with the major advantages that the glass is demountable and recyclable. Furthermore the CCC is the first building where circular concrete has been applied. Also, energy piles have been used in the foundation of the CCC. These research projects together form a sustainable and innovative glass building at The Green Village, which will soon serve as an event centre and can accommodate around 200 guests.
In this way, the Co-creation Centre forms a beautiful heart of The Green Village, where we can take steps towards a sustainable future in co-creation.

De oplevering van het Co-Creation Centre op The Green Village
Een mijlpaal: het Co-Creation Center op The Green Village is onlangs opgeleverd! De komende weken zal de laatste hand worden gelegd aan dit innovatieve gebouw, zodat hier in de nabije toekomst inspiratie-, werk- en dialoogsessies kunnen worden gehouden.
Het Co-Creation Centre, ofwel CCC is een bijzonder gebouw doordat het een verzameling van verschillende onderzoeksprojecten is. Deze onderzoeksprojecten zijn uitgevoerd door consortia van wetenschappers van de TU Delft en innovatieve bedrijven. Zo schreven wij eerder al dat er in het CCC is gewerkt met een revolutionaire, volledig glazen draagconstructie, met als grote voordelen dat dit glas demontabel en recyclebaar is. Ook is het CCC het eerste gebouw waar circulair beton is toegepast én is er gebruik gemaakt van energy piles in de fundering van het CCC. Deze onderzoeksprojecten vormen gezamenlijk een duurzaam en innovatief glazen gebouw op The Green Village, dat binnenkort dienst zal gaan doen als evenementencentrum en ruimte biedt aan zo’n 200 gasten.
Zo vormt het Co-Creation Centre het hart van The Green Village, waar door innovatie en co-creatie stappen worden gezet naar een duurzame toekomst.
